Tara Chouake, MD, MA

Dr. Tara Chouake is an Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist practicing in Manhattan, NY and Bergen County, New Jersey.

She completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center where she also served as chief fellow. She continues to supervise and teach Psychiatry residents at AECOM. Prior to her medical studies, she completed a Master's degree in Developmental and Cognitive Psychology and Brain Sciences. Her research focus included childhood learning disorders, cognitive remediation and brain stimulation. 

Dr. Chouake specializes in providing attuned care, and creates individualized treatment plans that focus on the mental health of children, families and adults. Her areas of expertise include anxiety and mood disorders, Selective Mutism, OCD, ADHD, Tic disorders and child/adolescent mental health.
